Beds in a dorm-style room are $10 a night. You get what you pay for, but it’s a fun place to stay, and two buses to UBC stop just outside the door.

The Cambie

Two locations:
Gastown: www.thecambie.com/v2/gastown this one has a very popular cafe/pub and a few minutes' walk to a bus to UBC.
Seymour: www.thecambie.com/v2/seymour this one is a 30-second walk to the bus stop.
This is a well-known and well-loved hostel, and it is not the most expensive!
