Archaeology Lab Nights

Each fall term I organize a weekly laboratory session for faculty, grad students, and undergrads. The purpose is to bring people together to help each other conduct laboratory work on current projects in a social atmosphere. We also facilitate links between researchers and assistants, so if you are a researcher looking for help or a student looking to help out, we can bring you together.

In 2011, Lab Nights will be held in the Borden Archaeological Research Room in MOA (Room 214, near the cafe) on Tuesdays from 5-8 pm. Lab Nights run from September 20 to November 29, except October 11.

If you are interested in joining us, please send me an email [andrew.martindale(at)ubc.ca] with your name and student number so that I can add you to the security list.

If you are a grad student or faculty member with a research project, please contact me. You will need to arrange research space via the Laboratory of Archaeology administrator, Patricia Ormerod [anth.archy(at)ubc.ca].
