Museum Anthropology:  history of museum theory and practice, public representation, theories of collecting, copyright, community collaboration, property rights, critical curatorship. Pacific Islands and African Studies:  legacy of early collecting practices, 19th century photography, material culture with an emphasis on pottery, contemporary performing and visual arts. Ceramics: Ceramics: technology, agency, collecting.
