Centre for Arts Student Services (CASS)
The Centre for Arts Student Services, located in the Buchanan complex, offers a number of programs and resources to assist students in the Faculty of Arts. These include:
- Advising on degree requirements
- Learning resources to assist with the researching and writing of papers, study techniques, and the avoidance of plagiarism
- Advice and support for studying abroad (Go Global)
- Transfer credits
- Advice in cases of academic concession, dropping or making up courses, and dealing with hardships
If you become ill or are dealing with a crisis that interferes with your classroom, you may need to seek academic concession. Please speak with your professors and contact Arts Academic Advising. Please note that only Arts Advisors may grant Standing Deferred status for students unable to complete coursework by the end of the term for personal reasons.
